This is a very beautiful Irish melody written by the famous 17th century composer, Turlough O’Carolyn. I’ve included three different variations of the melody in different positions and octaves for beginner and intermediate level players and also a solo variation for the advanced player. Each variation is played through twice slowly to play along with. This lesson comes with five pages of tablature and three play-a-long tracks. I’ve also included a chord chart of this arrangement. Over 25 minutes long.

    This is a beautiful song, and Sandy's arrangement of it is great. There is something in the song and the lesson for everyone (different elements include bends and overblows for more advanced players, some parts only require single note playing), but there isn't much for the absolute beginner. I'd classify myself as level 2 trying for level 3, and I am probably the bottom level of player who is going to get much from the lesson. So- get those single notes down, try some basic bending, then have a go at this lesson. You won't regret it.
