  Sandy has a great manner as a teacher---friendly, clear, just plain nice to listen to (like his harp playing). But this lesson was a bit rough, with a couple of mistakes that should have been corrected (e.g. Sandy says he'll play the "Fake Blues Scale" up and down, but then only plays it up, when he's playing the theme lick, the Fake Blues Scale is put up on screen, which can be confusing). I also didn't feel the lesson really took me somewhere---it seemed a little unfocussed. Perhaps if Sandy concentrated on getting the student to the point of playing a particular "song" that could help the student come out of the lesson with a clear product and sense of achievement. Maybe Sandy is expecting us to be at the stage of cutting and pasting licks and putting things together ourselves? Personally, I'm not there yet.

  I take it back. Sandy does get to bringing the different licks together, as well as giving some tips for making your own---maybe needed to "signpost this a bit more? A good lesson for those just beyond newbie (i.e. good single notes, not bending yet)
